Christmas 2009

Wednesday Dec 23rd this is what it looked like coming out of Oregon towards Utah, this was 2/3 of our traveling. But once we got into Nevada we were able to go 80 so we made up time hehe.


13hrs later we arrived to Aaron's sister's house in West Jordan. Lots of Snow in Utah. So the next day (Christmas Eve) we took advantage.


Aaron and Amber are ready for some fun in the cold sun and snow haha. They had SO MUCH FUN. I think it was a good 2 hrs outside. and it wasn't that cold because the sun was shining.


Here's Amber (pink and purple) and her cousin Elliana (4yrs old) playing together in the snow. Lots and Lots of fun together.


So that night (Christmas Eve) the children opened one gift, and for us it's always PJs. Here's special pjs Amber received from her Grandma Heady. Very special princess pajamas and matching pillow case. (Look Ma they fit Great)

One the 26th we went to Temple Square in Salt Lake City to see the lights. It's SO AMAZING they spend months hanging lights on EVERY branch on Most of the trees surounding the SLC temple. We got REALLY REALLY REALLY Bundled up to spend about 45min outside walking around looking at these lights and a nativity showing.


Here's just a few trees that we saw down a walk way. It was more impressive in person.


As part of the nativity it went through the birth of Christ with shepards, wise men, stable etc. I took this shot of Mary, Joseph, Jesus in the Stable. They look Real and life like but alas they're just a display.


By the end of it Allison was really cold and ready to go home. She slept well that night.

We decided we wanted to dye white shirts with the kids so we did. Here's Amber's. They all turned out great.


Our trip home was less eventful, weather wise thankfully.
