Gila Valley, Arizona Temple Dedication

at the End of May 2010 the Lindsay Family flew on an airplane to Phoenix for the Temple Dedication in the town/stake Aaron grew up in. It was all very spiritual and exciting for experiance it.
We were Able to visit our super good friends Aaron and Amber Jarvis, Unfortunitly Aaron had to work and we couldn't see him. But Allison and Amber played with the Jarvis girls Emma and Sarah. Oh my they had fun playing dress up. Wish we could get together more that once every 1-2 yrs.
In Safford (Aaron's home town) located 3hrs east of Phoenix it was just beautiful weather, It maintains about 10degrees cooler than Phoenix. Here's Aaron's stepmom Jayna pushing Amber and Allison on Grandpa Lindsay's homemade swings. Fun Fun.
Here's a shot of the garage side of Aaron's childhood home. His Dad and his wife Jayna still live there.
Another homemade swing from Aaron's dad. A big Semi truck tire that's been cut and sealed and turned into a swing. Grandma Jayna had a lot of fun with her two (step) granddaughters.
Allison's first time to Safford at 1 1/2yrs old. She loved walking around.
Another great shot of Aaron's home. The front this time. The trees had all grown a lot. It's amazing when I see pictures from 20yrs ago how little everything was.
This was so cute. Amber and Allison were chasing lizards. They would find one, follow it the best they could then lose it and have to look for another one.
Allison and Amber eating at the bar at Grandpa Lindsay's house.
Here's the Beautiful Gila Valley Temple. The look of it really fits the southwest feel. It so amazing that Aaron's home stake now has a Temple!
Another Amazing shot of the Gila Valley Arizona Temple.
When we started this trip to Arizona we flew on an airplane. As we were headed back to the airport we ran out of gas an missed our flight (faulty gas gauge). We had to DRIVE Home (which we swore we're never do again). Luckily all we had to pay for was the gas and hotel room. The rental car place paid for the car which saved us $300. oh well. We did have quite an adventure and it's something we'll always remember.
Amber and Allison in the car. The sun seemed to always be on Amber so we finally put up a blanket to block it.
One of the sites around the San Fernando area. All these wind mills. Amber was so enthrawled and loved looking at them
Another stop to stretch our legs. They always wanted Aaron to hold them. Which is sort of the opposite of stretch the legs right? Silly girls.
